Big disappointment! Last year this place was so awesome. I always had a wonderful experience. The ladies last year were so helpful. I was always being educated on how to big produce and never bought anything bad. This year, definitely changed for the worse.
The produce has been less than mediocre this summer. I was there asking the woman how to pick a watermelon. She skidding around the question and basically chose the melon for me. I was like fine whatever, but when I cut that melon open at our BBQ everyone commented on how it was water and no melon. The most flavorless thing I have ever had. The chicken salad used to be PHENOMENAL, this year blechhh. They also shortened the hours. They also sell the zucchini flowers here for a favorite Italian delicacy. Fresh made Key Lime pie, zucchini walnut loaf and other berry pies are also available. Homemade soups, sauces and fermented goods are always fresh. I always stop here to go to my parents with goods. Do stop in even if you are on route elsewhere in the valley. You'll be...
