Alpine Valley Trailhead — Attraction in Town of Lafayette

I'm from southern Indiana where there is similar topography, and I was very impressed with this trail! The trail winds through a ski slope which was really cool. Only 1.5 hrs. from the north side of Chicago and you feel like you're somewhere unique. There were a lot of challenging obstacles, many hills to climb, and the length was just right. I spent about 1.5 hrs there and had a blast. The "advanced" section was actually doable which pleasantly surprised me because I don't consider myself an advanced rider (I don't do big ramps or actually get air). There were at least 4 ramps to get air on in other parts of the trail but not in the advanced section which was unexpected.

I was confused about where the trailhead was. You have to take the gravel road to the left once the Resort itself is in view, and that road leads back to the dropbox where you pay and begin the trail. The trails themselves were also slightly confusing and there should have been better signage. But overall, will definitely go...
