A friend and I spent a couple hours here to cool off and enjoy God's beauty. We collected many beautiful rocks, which i got to keep ofcourse, but my friend found this very interesting and absolutely amazing looking one. It actually has an imprint of a black heart 🖤 on it! How crazy is that?! It was a very special day and I'll never forget it! We will definitely be back to visit!

Great beach on Lake Wissotta. We have stopped there the last couple of weekends earlier in the day. Gets busy a bit later in the afternoon. The kids swam and played on the beach while I followed my son on our small boat as he swam to the Island training for an Ironman Triathalon.

Really small beach, but a great place to watch the sunset. Parking available. The bathroom is basically a porta potty. However, the beach is really nice. I recommend!

Narrow sand beach with a large grassy knoll. This is a happening place in the summer. The swim area is pretty shallow as you can walk out a long ways with it staying only a few feet deep. Boats, kayaks, and jetskis stop by on the sides of the swim area and even the local lake bar, The Sand Bar will send a drink pontoon if you're getting thirsty. Only downfall is the amount of dog poop when you're trying to find a place to set your stuff. Otherwise it's a great family spot to...

Decent sized, family friendly, sandy beach and a large grassy area for picnicking. There was a large algae bloom when we were there last week, but kids enjoyed playing in the sand. Bathroom was clean but there was no soap dispenser in the bathroom for washing hands, so bring your own soap I guess?? There was a lot of trash in the parking lot. This is a county park that relies on donations from the...

Only a small strip of sand, but it was free of trash. Nice tables and benches, and reasonably well kept facilities. Biggest problem was the obvious and recent presence of geese voiding themselves. Nothing that can be done about that, of course, but it is a sanitary concern that prevented us from relaxing and laying out our towels. Worth checking out but may not always be the best option...
