This is way cooler than you would imagine. It's free. First, great views. Friendly helpful staff. You get badges, can take your picture, track your memories online. My favorite was a digital Tesla-Edison debate, and they have a cute 4D movie (be prepared for water misting!). Many exhibits to play. One of the most challenging is managing the city's power supply, which must be constantly adjusted. I would Never have imagined a free place to have this much and, for an electric-oriented place, never thought it would be so fun while learning. You can learn a lot about Niagara's hydroelectric production and...

I went to the new york power authority to see their wild animal exhibit. Rigjt outside that was very fun. Saw monkeys and a police dog show. As well as other cool things about animals. Then I went into the power authority. Amazing views of the gorge. Beautiful art work of Niagara falls and the story of how it was built. Thete are games and displays to explain how the power authority works. Fun for kids and adults. There is also a short little film with moving seats so you can experience what ridings the waves feels like. All of this was for free. I highly recommend checking it out with...

I spend a lot of time fishing below this place and have never paid a visit - until yesterday. What an awesome place to spend a couple hours with family. It’s free! Plus - visitors will walk away smarter than when you walked in. There’s a ton of learning opportunities here - history of our region, history of the dam, where your power comes from, and more. Tony was our guide for much of our time here - he was very knowledgeable and fun to chat...

Great views and nice place to relax and fish too. Met some people fishing off the platforms and the waters edge down at the bottom of the stairs near the parking lot. Plenty of stairs around here so take your time and hold onto your little ones as well as cell phones while taking pictures on the platforms, certain areas the grates are wide enough for your phone to fall through. There is also an elevator to take you back and forth if you can't make the stairs.

Its a freebie but guess what Lots of niagara visitors don’t make it up to here, but this one of the best place for kids to learn all about electricity, its generation and supply. Lots on interactive exhibits and activities for kids, even for adults to learn lot of new stuff. Theres even a 4d screening. Get ur free id card at beginning with a picture of urs having rf enabled for all the games to play.
