Door Shakespeare Day Time Office and Gift Shop — Attraction in Town of Liberty Grove

I'd never been to a Shakespheare play before. I always had such a hard time following the lines and understanding what was being said. This was a completely unique and wonderful experience and I loved it! The actors were able to make the wordiness of Shakeaphere sound natural. I was so impressed with how well the actors actually understood what they were saying and gave such realistic expression and mannerisms that actually helped me to understand and follow along easily. I was absolutely absorbed in the story and the humor. I can't wait to go again. I highly recommend the experience. On a practical side: They have a few consession snacks and drinks, but not regular food so plan accordingly. Dress for outside weather. I didn't need bug spray but you might. The location is hard to find. The GPS took me to the wrong entrance and it took me a while to circle around and find it. There are signs which are...

This gem, tucked into the forest of Door County, is well worth the visit. We were greeted with a smile as we drove in on where to park and all through the place there's this sense of "may we help you".

The production of "As You Like It" was amazing and you could see the performers feeding off the engagement of the audience.
