USNPS Upper Delaware River Information Kiosk and Boat Launch — Attraction in Town of Lumberland

This launch site is not marked with signage & is therefore easy to paddle past if not attentive. Due to poor cell phone signal in this area, boaters should pin this location on their smartphones prior to beginning their river trips if they plan on using this launch site. Also note that this launch is designed for non-motorized boats (kayaks, canoes, rafts, tubes) only. The shoreline here is very rocky, so be careful walking here. Pullout for the Mongaup river. Great parking, well maintained porta potties in season, park service more than tolerant of folks hanging out, eating, etc...but right next to a very busy road popular with high performance vehicles of all sorts (loud and smelly). But I'm reducing my review to one star because some bureaucratic idiots removed the grass berms that separated the Rows of parking so now it's just one...

Good spot to stop and have a little picnic. You have a nice view of the Delaware river and there is a trail/path side by side with the river. Great spot to take your bike...
