What a beautiful area! I got to spend about 5 hours kayaking here from Diner Fields Rd up to Haven Rd and back. Calm, clear water and many wildlife sightings including ducks, herons and what may have been a bald eagle (it was kind of far away). Very peaceful spot with a few different boat launches, an observation tower and a walking trail.

The basha kill is a great place to get away from regular hustle and bustle. You can walk in another word through paths or that's what it will seem! Plenty to do from hunting and fishing rare game to hiking and photography on...
