We are from Niagara Canada and this bike park has very quickly become a favorite. Its 1hr 10min drive through nothing but wide open highway. No Toronto traffic! But most importantly the bike park. Its a very chill vibe and the trails are really good. The dirt is more clay base and most of the trails are very natural feeling. Lots of roots, rocks and extremely variable terrain especially on Horsehead, Newts Tail and Dirty Bird. Machine built trails such as Canfields funnel is high speed action with a ton of side hits. Some trails feature wooden features! This park just has fantastic terrain! New trail called Vegabond has just opened and is a nice progressive green trail. Its the staff that complete the full package that is Holimont Bike Park. Charlie, you rock. The lift guys are great and there is always some classic rock playing at the bottom and some music at the top of the lift! Even though the place can get busy, it never feels busy on the trails. Honestly, this place just hits all the right marks for a bike park. Its only going to get better! They have a bike rental on hand of you need or want it as well. Also a food truck. ALSO, there is a pond where you can fish or swim or rent kayaks and SUP. So if you're looking for a place with a super chill vibe, excellent trails, a welcoming environment, challenging terrain, give Holimont Bike Park a shot! ...

Canfield Funnel had some quality berms and b-lines. I was impressed. Dirt Bird was really fun, too. If I had the time, I would session some of the features. A proper black. We also hit up Newts, which was more technical.
My only critique of the park is that the far side near Newts felt like the topography has way more potential than what was built. The dirt was fantastic, and I hope that more trails are build on that slope.
Either way, we felt lucky. Place is a gem that we...
