20 Deep Winery — Attraction in Town of Mendon

We decided to make very last minute Father’s Day plans and as I searched around for some local wineries, I came upon 20 Deep Winery. I reached out to David and he was able to accommodate a tour and wine tasting (just days before the holiday!) I hadn’t realized they weren’t fully open yet, but David made reservation and payment communication via email easy and simple. He created a nice outdoor sitting area for us. Our family consisted of 9 adults and 2 toddlers and an infant, and David handled the running-around-of-children, very well. He kept them occupied (brought out a tractor for them to sit on) while at the same time providing a wine tasting with not only delicious wines but very knowledgeable information about the vineyard and wine processes. We loved the Sparkling Resiling, which was new to all of us; we each bought a bottle for home (I may have to order more already!) They usually collaborate with another local business to cater some food, but due to the last minute organization, he allowed us to bring our own food in. I hosted my husband’s 40th birthday party at 20 Deep and had such a positive experience; it’s the perfect place for an event! The setting at 20 deep is picturesque —the back patio is in the shade and overlooks a vineyard (just beautiful). It's equipped with lots of big ceiling fans which are a really nice touch. 20 Deep is clean, classy and has a really good vibe. Our guests complimented what a nice setting the party was held in and how amazing the drinks were- the Bubbly Riesling was a favorite among the group.

Hats off to the staff at 20 Deep who took really good care of our group especially the owner Dave who is an extremely nice person. Dave was very responsive and accommodating during the planning process. The pricing is extremely reasonable and I'd host my next event there in a heartbeat. I give 20 Deep my highest recommendation- it’s a good spot for a birthday party, shower, or just a casual day with friends and family - I love that they take reservations- that makes things easy! Utter disappointment. Came yesterday with my auntie and sister and the only enjoyable thing was being able to sit in the sun. The lady working the counter in the afternoon was extremely unpleasant. My sister asked for some menus and the woman rudely said “only if you bring them back”. When we went up to order she cut my sister off as we ordering and tossed the paper towards her saying we have to write it down. When my auntie came up to us, this woman said “ I thought there was more of you people”. Excuse me? You people? Mind you, all of us were a different ethnicity. The wines didn’t even make up for the audacity of this mediocre woman. We had two flights and all 8 wines were unimpressive.
