Mendon Fire Carnival — Local services in Town of Mendon

Always a wonderful time to spend with friends, family and running into Alumni, you haven't seen in years.

The biggest problem i heard constantly was the price of the rides. Mendon FD really needs to take control of the carnies and their prices. 30.00 per ride ticket for one teenager, but family's these days have more than one kid. So too expensive to come every day or to even come at all. If the carnies can't come to a better price, maybe it's time to use a different company. Especially with the age of the rides and using the same ones for many years. The safety issue is huge. I have gone to other carnivals and they use newer companies that better rides and they have different prices for certain ages. Also, better ride special arm bands for Saturday afternoon specials!. All in all. The beer tent, music and games are the best part for adults. Just need to change up the rest for the families to afford and for the kids to be safe in these...

We go to this carnival every year as a tradition and to support or local fire department. The all day ride pass price increased but they do have early ticket discounts you can buy before the carnival. Saves on some money. The carnival is smaller but still offer enough rides to have a great time and games to! The food venders are always good and they have good band selections that play through out the day. I took my grandkids. The weather was great. The kids didn't have to wait in long lines. What I loved the most was that there were actually places to sit down to eat. A large pavilion with plenty of picnic tables. There were also large shade trees right next to some of the rides. The kids had a great time. There were also a few benches spread out to sit down on. On our way leaving, it got really crowded. A parade was going to be going on a couple of hours after we left. Good food...
