Lake Montello — Attraction in Town of Montello

Went everyday for 2 weeks waiting for the panfish to go to the beds. They came in late this year but when they did the gills and perch were outstanding!! Too all you Looky Lou's that can't find your own fish or place to fish.. Or to the boats that moved in on me with a whole lake to fish..( and better area's)...

Had the chance to spend a weekend in a VRBO for the weekend. What a great choice, it was quiet and calm early April. We had the chance to see loons, hooded and common mergansers, bufflehead, ring neck ducks, wood ducks, shovelers, and mallards. I definitely plan to come back and try some kayaking...
