Lake Napowan — Attraction in Town of Mount Morris

I’ve been to Camp Napowan for over 7 years now. I’ve enjoyed it very much as a Scout and now I am an Eagle Scout. When I’ve heard the terrible news about it closing I was devastated and cried. I’ve done all summer camps with my Troop and earned like over 50 merit badges there and had so many memorable moments in my life. Couple of those years my parents visited me at camp with my dog that recently passed away the end of 2018 summer. So my dog was at Napowan when I was younger until 2018. I met and hung out with alot of friends there. If I had a chance to go back to hike the trails I wood. I personally would of wanted Camp Napowan to stay open. I know the horrible thing that happened to making it close. They could of still took better precautions after that incident and kept it open.
