Hust Roost Farm — Attraction in Town of Nanticoke

This is a lovely place for grabbing a range of items. They have candy and sweets, a pantry in the back for everyday items like spices, jarred sauce, macaroni, cereal and more. The pantry seems particularly convenient since there isn’t a supermarket in the area. Instead, people can come here and shop with locals while supporting locals. You can order produce boxes here and there’s frozen meat products from the farm as well.

They carry both Gifford’s of Maine and Perry’s ice cream. They can sell you pints to take home or make you a cone, cup, or shake for an individual portion. They also do pizzas here. Come in and check out their special, a personal pie with a can of soda and small bag of chips. They sell some toys and games for kids, maple syrup and honey products, and so much more. This quaint little store is a gem. Always happy with the quality of food and cleanliness of the store. My son and I stopped in on the way home today. We got two of their hot dog combs ( qtr lb hotdog, bag of chips and a can of soda) for 4.00 each and a huge buckeye cookie for 2.00. We spent 10.80 in total. The staff is always pleasant. Definitely would recommend if you are in the area. What a wonderful surprise my dear friend and I had when we met up at Hust Roost yesterday. We had planned to visit them for awhile. We were shocked at how wonderful everything was. The food…INCREDIBLE!!! We had pulled pork sandwiches, just to die for, and the best potato salad I’ve ever had!
