Octagon Inn — Restaurant in Town of Nanticoke

horrible experience ...i have ordered take out food at the octagon about 6-10 times in the past 6 months....never had a problem in fact loved their food....

today i had a nightmare experience at the octagon...

i walk in and was immediatly mauled by huge barking dogs....that should of been a red flag immediatly however i looked past that....

got the food which smelled like rotten eggs on the car ride home....even looked past that....

specifically asked for ''raw onions'' not cooked onions on philly cheese steak...however the onions r hot and soggy like they have been sauted.....will get back to this in a minute...

opened my speedy sub and it smelled like rotten eggs...tasted it....and it tasted horrible and sour like rotten meat....

went to octagon to get a refund for 13.25....mauled by the dogs again..jumped all over me and barked in my face.....the owner sue would not refund my money...only offered credit...i stated i did not want credit i really wanted my money back because this is ridiculous and gross..

she took me to the back and showed me the onions were in fact not cooked but sitting in a tupperware bin pre cut up in old juice and god knows what....they pre cut their onions and let them sit in rotten juices for who knows how long...same with thier speedys....(a gentleman yelled from the other side of the bar at me ''hey i just cut those up a few days ago they arent bad''

while we were in kitchen here comes the dogs again...running loose thruought the establishment ...disgusting.....will never go to this bar again and will tell family to never order from there again....

im not the kind of person who would just complain about bad food i had a reason and for the owner to not even refund my money is retarded she is a greedy person who has no clue how to run a kitchen or an establishment.....

zero customer service.....disgusting ...health dept should shut this place down...just take a look in the...

We ordered 4 orders of wings to take home after horseshoes. If you want just a plain wing with no sauce or flavor they are good. But we ordered 2 orders of Garlic BBQ, an order of medium/ honey mustard and the last their spicy Bourbon flavor.. the garlic BBQ had minimal BBQ sauce and no garlic. The medium/ honey mustard had no sauce on them you could tell they were not rolled in sauce. There was just a dab of honey mustard in the bottom and no medium sauce at all. Basically the same thing for the last batch. They were definitely not...

Great place to eat, shoot darts, play pool and drink. Also a great place to hold a party or any other event. I am new to town and have been made to feel right at home there. Don't understand the 1 bad review, I feel its a little over the top there buddy and point blank I don't believe you.
