Sherwood Point Lighthouse — Attraction in Town of Nasewaupee

Interesting grounds to visit, but typically NOT open to the public. You are able to see this light on certain tours during a few of the Door County festivals (specifically went on the trolley tour during the lighthouse festival in spring), but the area is not topen to the public at most times. You can see the lighthouse flashing on and off all night long from where I was at on the opposite side of the Sturgeon Bay at the quarry! I watched boats headin that direction at pitch dark night. I drove over there to check it out, but it’s on private property. I could take pics from my car on the public road next to driveway, but cannot drive on...
