Donovan's Shady Harbor Marina — Attraction in Town of New Baltimore

Well,your team is pretty awesome. We rolled out of new York later than expected, then the coast guard and some of new York cities finest wanted to inspect the vessel, no issues, just delay. We arrived at shady about 5.

Three people met us for fuel and tie up. I told them I wanted to arrive at 1 and get some help take the radar down and Chris perked up immediately. We got Eric's approval to work late and the office opened a work ticket. Chris went to work while still fueling. He helped remove the radar and lay down the radar Mount to help reduce air draft for bridges.

Chris is awesome, he knew exactly what we needed and toke great care in protecting the fiberglass and getting the radar folded down. I can't thank you and your team enough.

Worst marina and business place ever. Mariners beware. This place has the worst restaurant and service on the river....I waited 2 hours for a sandwich and fries then my fries were black...the place wasnt even busy. I called there to have my boat serviced and was told each time someone will call you etc...still no one has called me back. Mariners all around from north to south...bypass shady harbor and use Coeymans Landing Marina. Coeymans landing marina has competent and pleasant staff...who know how to use a phone....and Yannis restaurant is by far one of the best on the river. Mariners I repeat drive by this place and go to Coeymans...

Our favorite marina. The owners, Kathy and Brian Donovan go out of their way to ensure that you will a five star stay at their marina. From their super clean bathrooms, well stocked ship's store, friendly dock-hands, and covered grilling area with plenty of picnic tables, which is right next to the pool. Don't feel like cooking, the Boathouse Grill is right there at the marina. Another added bonus is they provide a courtesy car so that you can re-provision. A must stop when transiting...
