It is absolutely astounding to see what a small community can do when they come together to support a cause. The Beckman Mill is a historical landmark that was almost lost to us but for the hard work of certain citizens of the community to save it and restore it. Beckman Mill park features a beautiful nature walk trail, shelter house, and (at select times during the year) a tour of the historic Mill and outbuildings. Great learning opportunity for anyone interested in the history of...

Beautiful park with an old grist mill and creamery. There is a really pretty flower garden with benches and walking trails with benches along the way. Right next to the river and a small damn. Fishing is allowed and they have public bathrooms on the grounds and a super nice playground with swings slides and other equipment to play on. There are also grills and picnic tables for public use. A small gift shop that is open on weekends too! Very pretty and...

Interesting little spot with some educational buildings (when open) and around 2 miles of path, give or take - some out in the open near water, and some in forest and over fen. Sit on a bench or stand out on a viewing dock and...

It was such a beautiful day that we decided to go for a walk. We went to Beckman Mill Park. Set along Mill Pond they have some restored historical buildings, a playground with fairly new eguipment, some very nice nature trails, and a information center gift shop. There is also have lots of open green space. The blooming fall flowers were beautiful.

Wonderful place to go and connect with local history and nature. Building open on weekends from 1 to 4 from May through October with tours and the first Saturdays actually grinding corn in the mill! Beautiful grounds for connecting with nature too.
