Very peaceful nature hike. Leisurely, not strenuous. I heard a lot of different birds and geese. Heard fish jumping out of the water. Well-preserved historic buildings. Didn't take the mill tour but maybe next time. Plenty of benches along the trails to rest and take in the scenery. Large picnic pavillion there too. A couple of nice boardwalks take you right up to the water's edge and provide a rest spot for bird/nature viewing. I only saw three other people when I was there...two men fishing separately and a two women taking photos. The pavilion does have electricity, but will only be turned on if you rent it. The covered bridge is also something that can be rented for a small fee. I was very happy with everything the park offered, and highly recommend checking this place out if you are thinking of an...
