I had an amazing time, but the price is WOWzers!!!! So let me explain. 5 stars for my experience which I probably won't do again (it was my birthday, and this is what I wanted to do with my son and two godchildren). 2 stars for the price. 5 stars for everyone being nice.
So here goes... It's 15 dollars a person just to get in. This does include the following:
-pie eating contest (I think...we didn't get to do it because we ran to do other things, but we will if we return). parking (it's 5 dollars extra if you want VIP) -face painting (missed it due to time) -mummy and scarecrow building (again our fault for not getting to it in time) -magic show...didn't get to see -cow train that looks like for tiny Tots -hay ride...that was a nice time -slide...they give this to you twice to ride and it's the best thing there!...so much fun! So all in all...thats pretty good for the 15 dollars if you do it all. I can't complain about what we missed. That's on us. But!!! I'd include a smaller pumpkin in with that price and let me tell you why.
That's 15 dollars x4 people (ages, 11, 14, 21 & 40 something yr old.;) ) So $60 to get in. It's almost worth it. Just throw a pumpkin in!
Okay...speaking of Pumpkins...they are 60 cents a lbs. We got quite a few Pumpkins in different sizes (I think one XXL, 3 small/med and two medium, 1 small/med painted, 1 corn bundle and 5 minis (which are & $1 a piece. This came to $80. That's a lot, but I wasn't putting any back, so I just sucked it up to enjoy the experience.
Moving on... I took the 3 of them (I did not eat because I have celiacs...not their problem but that's the reason) to the grilled cheese tent. 3 grilled cheese plus 2 sodas and 1 bottle of water came to just under $50. Nope, the grilled cheese was not massive, although it did include maybe pickles or ham or whatever, depending on the kind you order. So 11 dollars plus 4 dollars for each soda, and 3 dollars for water.
Moving on... For some odd reason I misread and thought the corn maze was included. It's not. So we paid extra for that plus the paintball train. Both gave us $1 off each person, but the total was still somewhere around 60 something dollars. The cornmaze was awesome, and the x zombie actors were great... The paintball is not worth it but to each own.
We purchased some Italian ice and some baked goods....another 32 dollars.
All in all for the 4 us...about $300.
Do they include a decent amount in the admission, but I still think they should add a pumpkin for free, for each person. It would have made me feel so much better for spending so much extra on everything else.
The grounds are clean...even the Portta potties... Everything is nicely decorated. Really we had a great time, but it's a lot of money.
There's a big gift shop I would have loved to buy some things from, but I was already over what I budgeted.
So....I recommend going if you know that you're looking at spending A LOT of money! It's a good time, though.
PS. They don't give birthday...

Under twos get in free, but they're not really going to enjoy most of what's on offer. The $18 ticket will get you some coupons and entrance to shows, but those sorts of things should be free anyway. It's no skin off their back to let you in a singing chicken show or a Boo Barn that's a rummage sale's worth of dusty artifacts and cheesy paintings that has not changed in at least 15 years. This year, the light wasn't on on the stairs before the crazy tunnel and some kids fell. If your kids want to enjoy the rides, it will cost you $1.50 a ticket and most rides (including a slide) cost 3 tickets. So, $4.50 to sit on a carousel for less than a minute. FOUR FIFTY for one ride (some are 4 tickets, $6 bucks is insane). If you have two kids, 5 rides, itโs up to $60 on top of the $72 to enter. There are โpassesโ you can buy for $25 dollars, but most kids will get bored as there arenโt that many rides. The staff was rude, acting as bouncers to these rides and shut a door in a 6 year oldโs face before mumbling โticketsโ. Food is mostly costly carnival junk, at $12 for an American cheese-slice grilled cheese. Then you may buy pumpkins and you may need coffee or more food. It is so ridiculously over-priced for what it is. It cost our family of four $150.00 for a few hours and we did not buy food in the barn or any pumpkins. The โplaygroundโ is terrifying. You will never know which side, or slide, your kid is going to pop out of. The fear of not seeing your child in a crowded place as they disappear in an opaque landing before sliding down into who knows where is not at all family friendly. A playground is not even necessary, if we wanted a playground, there's one within reach of most people's home. I imagine pretty soon they'll be charging to use it. The apple cannon was jammed, and they still led people over to it to use. We won't be going again as we had years past. They need to bring down the price, focus on the fall-related activities, and less on the crazy expensive carnival aspect, and improve long standing attractions like...
ย ย ย Read moreThis should be a place where you want to take the kids every year. Itโs very well set up and a lot to do for young kids. However, I think they are starting to out price themselves.
Itโs now $12 just to walk in. You get a tractor hayride, magic show (if youโre lucky enough to get in), boo barn and a cow train ride.
Cornmaze is $7, zombie paintball train is $9, jumping pillows $5, panning for gems is $6 and apple cannons is is $10 which are all additional prices per person on top of your admission. So thatโs another $37 per person if you do them all.
Tickets are also needed for the rides.
Food is mostly fair type vendors. $5 hot dogs, $5 pretzels, $3 sodas, $8 deep fried Oreos to name just a few prices.
On the very bright side parking is free and really organized.
In past years Iโve brought many bus loads of kids here. One of the โperksโ of being a bus driver is that almost ALL places we go to give the driver admission for free. The exceptions are usually concerts/Bills/Sabres events. We get free admission to high school sporting events, Six Flags and the Fair. We even get meals comped at places such as Burger King, and Wendyโs. They do this to thank us for bringing business to their establishments and as a courtesy so we can use the restrooms. We donโt have a problem paying for food and are very gracious if we are offered complimentary items.
In previous years here, Iโve always been allowed to get in at for no charge. Not this year. It cost a coworker and I $12 each to get in so we could use the bathroom. Itโs pretty sad that we brought in about 80 paying heads.
In the future I will now pass on any bus trips headed here because itโs pretty sad that I helped bring in a few thousand dollars in business and yet I had to pay to use...
