This is a beautiful lake over looking the Algonquin Mountain range. Stay a night at the Adirondak Loj campground and check it out. Or a day hike to street + Nye or the Mt Jo trail will take you to a really nice beach around Heart Lake.

Caught the fall foliage just about peak here. Got lots of great photos! Hiking trail around lake is nice with views of the lake here and there as you go.

Cost us 7$ for one car for one day. The lake is beautiful, the water were surprisingly warm.

We stopped here to camp after hiking the adjacent trails. We later visited the folks at the Adirondack Lodge and found that the summer help was being trained. We were invited in for a dinner of chicken and pasta, a welcome change from our...
