Saddle Rock Village Park — Attraction in Town of North Hempstead

Very nice small park by the water and the old Grist Mill (you can't go in, but very cool to look at from the outside). There is a small gazebo and some benches along the water to sit. There isn't much shade so I can imagine the workout circuit can be very hot during the summer, but it is a neat concept. Many of the machines seemed functional but had very limited range of motion and relied on just gravity or individual body weight, no additional resistance. Some of them I couldn't use since the minimum extension was already my full extension, so you would have to use a machine that works with your height. There is a sign that says you should be over 14 to use the equipment. There's a playground, a pool, basketball court, and a sports field. I truly enjoyed this park with my loved ones.
