It has great potential. I would compare their gym to a Planet Fitness. Definitely one of the best hotel gyms I have ever seen. There were 2 staff members who really stood out from the others, the others were meh. They have a very nice café with lots of comfortable and cozy seating areas where they offer drinks and pastries for purchase but once they ran out, they’re out. They say the café is open until 11pm but if you want something made with the espresso machine or a pastry, you’re out of luck. It's whatever is in the refrigerated display; yogurt parfaits, bottled drinks. Their say they offer a firepit, fireplace, cornhole and s’mores but you have to ask for it. Considering it's around $300+/night, you shouldn’t have to ask for it. They have a kitchenette that was stocked when we arrived Fri night but by Sat evening they were out & didn't restock. The room & bathroom were spacious but out of the 3 nights we stayed there, they only cleaned it once. We couldn’t adjust the temperature of the room and it was very cold. The grounds had great potential, but several areas looked like the gathering just finished and they hadn’t gotten around to cleaning for the 3 days we were there. One area had several broken glasses on the ground. God forbid someone was wondering in that area and didn't notice, they could have tripped and have gotten seriously hurt if they stood or fell on the partially broken glass with the sharp points sticking up. By Sunday the garbage pails by the front door were overflowing. I don’t think there is enough parking if they had a full house and it wasn’t convenient to get to it. It’s about an 5 min walk up or down the hill to get to the parking lot. With other words, it's a hike if you're going uphill. We lucked out that during our stay it didn’t rain or snow. At $300+/night you shouldn’t have to hike up or down the hill to get...
Read moreOur experience at Crotonville Conference Center was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, the hotel and its staff exceeded all of our expectations. Not only did we stay here with our guests, but we also got ready for the big day at the hotel, and it was the perfect setting for everything.
The bridal suite was absolutely stunning — spacious, elegant, and filled with natural light. It was everything we could have hoped for when getting ready to marry the love of my life. The room provided a peaceful yet exciting atmosphere, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. They went the extra mile to make us feel like royalty.
The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive. They were always available to help with any last-minute requests or questions, which helped ease any pre-wedding nerves. Everyone treated us like family, and we truly felt taken care of every step of the way. The rooms where our guests stayed were just as impressive, comfortable and beautifully designed.
Crotonville Conference Center helped make our special day even more memorable, and we are so grateful for the exceptional service and stunning surroundings. A huge thank you to the Luis Fornis and the entire team for helping make our wedding day flawless. If you’re looking for a hotel that offers beauty, comfort, and outstanding service, we wholeheartedly recommend Crotonville...
Read moreDefinitely feels like this place is an event center first, with very little focus on the actual hotel accommodations.
Amenities were very lacking; there's no fridge or microwave in the rooms, and the floor we were on didn't even have a kitchenette (no card access to the ones on other floors) so there wasn't anywhere we could access these. Even cheap chain hotels have a fridge and microwave in every room, so this place is falling behind the modern standard.
Water pressure in our shower was basically zero, felt like a gentle trickle. Definitely not want we wanted when trying to clean up after a long day of walking outdoors. Two of the towels in the bathrooms had large stains on...
