Read moreI've heard about this place for years. Finally got to go and I felt the ambiance was very nice, friendly staff and lots of interesting product, food. I didn't get to try the ice cream or lunch foods because I was here to buy a gallon of cider and some donuts for my family. The donuts were absolutely AMAZING. The cider was really good. If I had known how delicious the apple cider donuts were I would have bought more than three packages. I have a couple of complaints. Most of the packaged foods in the main building were mostly incredibly overpriced. Like insanely overpriced. The packages and quantities of every single product are absolutely TINY. And expensive. I paid ten dollars for one gallon of cider. I wanted to get a few pieces of fudge which were also extremely tiny but they were nearly ten dollars a piece! These are air port and tourist prices. The quantities are not fit for families. I would have liked to have purchased a couple of bigger packages of donuts but they were all packaged in small boxes of six. The only prices that were decent were the apple cider donuts which were 6 dollars a pack for 6. These donuts were worth every penny. I would like to see bigger quantities though and if this were the case I would buy a bunch of them. My family is a family of 5. 6 donuts doesn't last long. I live an hour away so after trying the donuts I wanted to purchase more so I went online to their online store but it was broken and there was a statement at the top that said they are no longer accepting online orders. Too bad, I would have been an...
Read moreWe always like visiting! We're glad they're open again ! We wish for you a great season! My husband didn't think the apple walnut pie was as good as usual. Needed more nuts. The crust was a little soggy. Probably because it was in a plastic container . We were on the motorcycle when he said he heard the call for his apple walnut pie and off we went to visit from Cassville! The pot roast sandwiches are great! My blueberry pie was very good. The crust was cooked a little more. Bought two cider donuts for home , always so good. Love all the ducks and geese. A nice place to visit. Bring your kids as they will love feeding the ducks and geese corn. The bees were a little pesty as we tried to eat our pie away from the table. They do love their sugar. Lol They're trying to catch them It's best they can. It's that time of the year. Staff very friendly. We think it's a great idea how they have made the changes to fit the covid-19 issues. Thank you for doing that for your customers. Like how they have it set up. Sad they can't find enough vendors to buy supplies to fill the upstairs with merchandise. Hpefully that comes back. Have plenty of things to look at and purchase on the first floor! I purchasing a squirrel cookie cutter with recipe attached! So cute! I love squirrels, my favorite critter. My family will think they're so cute this fall when they eat Grammie's squirrel cut out cookies! I always enjoy buying the Apple salsa, hard to find. We will all enjoy the...
