Centre Island Beach Field — Attraction in Town of Oyster Bay

Anchoring for the 4th this yeat was a really bad experience. We could not take our dinghy over the Bridge Bar which we really enjoy for fear of our boats being damaged by boats racing in and putting our vessels and crew in harms way. Total disrespect for people. To be able to severely rock boats of 14 tons and under is hard to do. Even the Police boat did it as well. We have not come for a few years for this reason. Now we may never return. They need 5 MPH Signs to return to the mooring area and severely enforce it. 2 years ago my friend had his window blown out. People need to know the boating and water courtesy rules....

We did not actually go to the Beach iys self but Rather to the zfoh zrin thY is mesr the entrance. I have been to the Beach part its self a while back to use the Rest room and walked around the area a bit. It was nice just not really Beach weather a little to Cool to me. We plan on going back maybe later come...
