This is a very exciting, Historical, and literary location. Being here, seeing the house and land surrounding, you can get a great concept of the books, films, and show. First off, getting there puts you onto a very challenging motorcycle road (CC) going from 35 in Pepin up to the cabin. The cabin area itself has good accommodation for parking, and there is a covered picnic table for outdoor snacking, along with a historical marker telling the story of the site.
