I was driving through this area (middle of nowhere to me, never been around here before and I live about almost 2 hours away) and we impulsively stopped when we saw this, we do that pretty much every time we spot a baseball diamond just to throw the ball around and it was at sunset too. No idea where or what this is but I’m sure some small town kids have some great memories and stories here. Always heart-warming to me and nostalgic for some reason. Makes no sense to leave a “review” here but I had too much fun not to, just saying it was cute and there was a big gravel parking lot and an awesome view of the sunset. Good times

I enjoyed the other park design because kids would play on a box of rocks if they were able, and now, I will say the updated park with the more modern look definitely says we are in the 21st century. The new playground keeps them active and moving, which will keep you active and moving as well. For now, bring a chair if you're an adult because you'll be on your feet. The benches haven't been installed as of this writing.

What a great Park this is. My grandchildren and I had the greatest time here sampling the food trucks and enjoying the bouncy house. The pony ride was an added bonus. This was a special event so these activities come once a year. The park has playground equipment and it's a beautiful setting. I highly recommend anytime.

I think they could do a lot more to create different areas and expand the playground.

A local Scout Troop BSA troop 70 installed a couple bars for Pull-Ups and pushups. I'm not sure how much that cost, but it's a start.

I'm aware their budget is probably dismal. Another complaint is the lack of trees. A park should have lots of trees for shade. No fun being a parent there with no shade. These saplings could undoubtedly be donated by the residents and local business. I certainly would.

That said. Decent parking. They mow the...

Today, on 7/12/2025, I had a very uncomfortable experience at this park....it is supposed to be a NO SMOKING AREA, and I saw, right in front of me two different people smoking. Even under security, they were even able to do it ..what a shame, if the police had passed around the area, they would've stopped these people, who are not ABLE TO KEEP THE RULES, EVEN IN FRONT IF THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT!! I WAS SMELLING CIGARET SMOKE, ALL EVENING, WHILE WAITING FOR THE FIRE WORKS!! YUCK....Why was I the only one...
