I was driving through this area (middle of nowhere to me, never been around here before and I live about almost 2 hours away) and we impulsively stopped when we saw this, we do that pretty much every time we spot a baseball diamond just to throw the ball around and it was at sunset too. A local Scout Troop BSA troop 70 installed a couple bars for Pull-Ups and pushups. I'm not sure how much that cost, but it's a start.
I'm aware their budget is probably dismal. Another complaint is the lack of trees. A park should have lots of trees for shade. No fun being a parent there with no shade. These saplings could undoubtedly be donated by the residents and local business. I certainly would.

Read moreToday, on 7/12/2025, I had a very uncomfortable experience at this park....it is supposed to be a NO SMOKING AREA, and I saw, right in front of me two different people smoking. Even under security, they were even able to do it ..what a shame, if the police had passed around the area, they would've stopped these people, who are not ABLE TO KEEP THE RULES, EVEN IN FRONT IF THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT!!
