The Friends maintain this park well with mowing, new benches around the property, and keeping the fence and gates in great working order. Open sunrise to sunset, this place is sure to please whether your pooch enjoys chasing balls or sniffing around and leaving their own mark. Even on hot and humid days, the shade from the mature trees keeps the outdoors pleasant for canines and humans alike. Picnic tables are present to lay out your water jugs and leashes but bringing human food in is not recommended. As soon as we got in the gate we had an agressive black dog trying to attack my sons 5 month old puppy. The owner was not near the dog and had to grab him and drag him away from my dogs while he was still trying to get my dogs. They go there all the time because her and her friend walk the perimeter of the fence while the dogs run loose. The whole time she kept saying hes not agressive and my dogs not once barked or got agressive back. My sons puppy was so scared he was shaking and trying to hide...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Ripon Dog park is most likely the nicest one in the area, itās located on an old farmstead and has a wide open manicured massive grassy area with some large older trees, a few picnic tables to sit on and there are plans for more trees to be planted this year by the city, its fenced in and it appears to have good drainage as there never seems to be standing water puddles like some other area parks! We live in Oshkosh and go to many of the parks in the area, Winneconne,Fond du lac, Neenah, Oshkosh to name a few! Itās certainly with the drive ! Iād give this...
