A very memorable camping site with nice views. It was not what we are used to as there were many others near us. We had to keep the music volume low. This was fine but I am used to having it loud enough so I didn't have to put in my hearing aids. So, it was a headphones weekend and that was cool with me. The bridge was awesome and the history around it.

Fantastic bridge. Solid structure with massive laminated archs and lattice trusses within. Spans another wonderful trout stream. Beautiful park that our dogs thoroughly enjoyed. Lovely place for a picnic with your family. I loved how the wooden cross decking shows decades worth of tire wear. Loved this bridge.

The covered bridge sits adjacent a quiet, well-kept public park. Small gatherings are allowed without so much as permission much less a permit. The river adds to the serenity of the scene, which can easily feel like transport to place outside of time.

Built in 1860, from what i can tell the cover is made 100% out of wood which is pretty special these days. For me It was worth the 45 minute trip.
