Historic Eagleville Covered Bridge is a historic covered bridge located in Washington County, NY. The bridge was built in 1858 and crosses the Batten Kill. It incorporates the Town lattice truss design. It is arguably the most picturesque of all covered bridges in Washington County. With a rope swing on one side hanging from a tree, it looks like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting. There is a fishing parking lot located a few hundred yards from the bridge if you want to walk up to it. You can also drive across the bridge. There is very little traffic in the area so it is possible to enjoy peace and quiet here. The Batten Kill also adds to the beautiful scenery in the area.
