Raleigh's Poultry Farm — Attraction in Town of Smithtown

BEST TURKEY WE HAVE EVER HAD!!!! I believe this is the First Google review I've ever written-- but just had to write this time!! We have been coming to Raleigh Farm for DECADES!!!! And always get our amazing Turkey here ever time!! It just gets better and better each year!!! You can truly taste the difference!!! There's no comparison-- the smell, the taste, the look!! Everything is better in a Raleigh Farm Turkey! We had over 20 for dinner and EVERYONE agreed!! But EVERYTHING is amazing here!!!! We always get our eggs at this farm!!! Again- you can SEE and TASTE the difference in the yolk of one of these eggs versus a store bought egg (These are also better even when compared to a store bought ORGANIC egg!!!). But truly EVERYTHING Raleigh Farm has is spectacular!!!! The Turkey breast roll!!!! The kielbasa!!! The salmon!!!!! The pies!!! ESP my fave- chocolate cream pie!!! The helpful healthy products like - REAL elderberry syrup that's so hard to find-- you don't want to have a cough or cold without it!!! I could go on and on.... the list is endless.. But besides the amazing products... the whole place is a beautiful Heavenly EXPERIENCE!!! It truly is a FAMILY Farm!! Everyone who works there is actually family!!! It's a true Labor of Love, and it shows!!!! It's so fun to chat with whichever beautiful family member is there!!! And the beautiful Animals!!! The kids LOVE seeing them and so do I!!! I’m incredibly disappointed and disturbed by the treatment my husband recently received at Raleigh Poultry in Kings Park. He was completely disregarded while standing patiently in line. Even after the customer ahead of him politely told the staff that someone was waiting, the employees casually waved it off and continued their personal conversation. Once they finally finished chatting and the previous customer left, the staff didn’t even acknowledge my husband, they simply walked away to the back room. This type of behavior is unacceptable and makes it very clear that not all customers are treated equally here. Everyone deserves to be served with respect. We expected a warm, community-oriented environment, but this experience was anything but. I hope this is addressed immediately, because no one should feel unwelcome or invisible in a place...

Every part of this farm, from the display of birds in the circle, to the exceptionally great staff, this place really exemplifies the farm experience. I go there any time I can and buy some of the best meats, eggs, produce, etc... You name it, they got it. Highly recommend the skirt steak and the scallops. Some of the most tender steaks you will ever eat. And the best part is that its a small business and a family business. Over 60 years! The two owners are sisters Maura and Catherine. I highly recommend supporting not just a small business but a family business and get some of the best tasting, organic food you can get. And also they have great music sometimes.
