This is a beautiful place to spend time. Kayaking, fishing, camping, you name it.... And chances are you'll have much of the place to yourself. I really enjoy camping here. Oh, one last thing, if you drive up the state road on the far side of the pond in early August, you can scoop up PILES of monarch caterpillars (my daughter loves hatching butterflies)

Great place to go camping! Best part? It's free! There is a boat launch so we brought our kayaks. The pond is a good size so we enjoyed kayaking. We also did some fishing. The campsites vary in size but are pretty flat. There is a port-a-potty, it was very clean. The pond is really pretty at sunrise and sunset.

Awesome free camping. At least 10 numbered campsites. Lots of garbage, you may have to do some cleaning up around your site. There are 8 sites on the pond and 2 across the road. Site 10 is probably the nicest. Can be busy at times. More popular than the state forests that offer free camping.

Good place to clean out a lot of the seaweed so somebody can actually catch them Tiger Muskies they stock it with could had a few more campsites they got plenty of room to add more roads and campsites and could use a few more Porta-Johns other neck right place like really great place to go to get away...
