As the title says it's a bog pond. Very level, sandy and an easy hike. Beware of tree roots and holes along the trail. Also as others have stated slather on the DEET or insect repellent of choice. They are as plentiful as in black fly season. Check for ticks as this is Lyme country.

The parking lot is very small about 4 cars. We were there mid afternoon on a weekday, so no issues. It's a pleasant quiet very easy very short walk( 1 mile). Still a nice...

USE BUG/TICK SPRAY. we came home with about 4-5 ticks on each of us. visiting from S Florida that's not a thing either one of us have encountered before. other than the bugs, the walk was easy and beautiful. wouldn't do it again though, the ticks...

Nice hiking trail that conveniently loops back to parking area. However parking area is very small. Its a nice scenic walk through Forest and past lakes and streams but nothing spectacular. Easy terrain if you stay on trail. No benches to stop and rest though.

Great little hiking trail I'm the scenic woods just right outside if the downtown area. So peaceful and so calm. They rebuilt the bridge so now you can hike all the way around the bog.

Beautiful small preserve very quiet. Please make sure to keep your dogs on a leash here there used to be a sign but it seems that someone removed it but it is still a valid law.
