Little Plains Beach — Attraction in Town of Southampton

beautiful beach with clean almost white sand. it seems to go on forever. it's a great place for a long, leisurely walk - or run if you're into that kind of thing. I visited during the off season which meant I could park close to the beach. normally, I suspect parking would be at a premium for non-residents. there's so much space, I can't imagine this beach ever being crowded. if you're here during the off-season I'd highly recommend it. if you're here during the spring/summer, I'd still recommend it but getting there might be a bit...

I had an amazing time visiting this beach. It has calf deep sand bars after just a few feet of deeper water. If you walk West on the beach you will likely see some local surfers tackling the waves. We saw whales migrating one early afternoon. It was amazing! The beach was littered with beautiful chonk shells as well as other kinds of shells. Even the rocks on the beach were beautiful! Parked in town, long boarded over to the beach which takes about 6-10 minutes but it’s a beautiful scene with the estates you pass on the way.
