The Wine Stand is a favorite of mine for years. Whether you are rolling through to grab a few bottles on the way into MTK (or elsewhere), or doing a prolonged stop to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wine before checking in to your beach vacation, you can’t go wrong. It is laid back and the staff are always incredible! Shoutout to Avery, who today enticed us to try something out of our usual, and we ended up buying a few bottles of the Finca on the way out! His hospitality was very much appreciated. For those who have never been, the Wine Stand allows you to enjoy wine and snacks without the formalities of going to the main vineyard. My biggest pro tip: go during the off season or “off hours” to avoid large crowds. The scene is typically a mixture of folks - from families and young groups to couples - everyone loves it. Additionally, if you are grabbing a few drinks — and not just buying bottles at the shop for off site enjoyment — you’ll notice a bit of an up charge, which to me is connected to the service / corking, but the overall pricing is nothing out of the ordinary for the Hamptons. Looking forward to our next trip...

I absolutely love Wolffer wines, but I have now had 2 upsetting experiences here. Twice now I’ve been here looking to buy a glass of wine as well as some bottles to take home and twice I was outright ignored. Most recently I stood at the bar with my credit card in hand while patrons entering after me were graciously served. This went on for about 20 minutes. At one point I was even the only person at the bar and was not even acknowledged. So finally I walked out. The previous time I was only acknowledged after I was checking out with a few hundred dollars worth of wine. I can only assume this is because I do not look like your normal hamptonite. I where Levi’s and ripped sweatshirts and my hair is...

This place is a perfect setting for a nice spring/summer/fall day as you get to enjoy the outdoor ambiance of sitting next to vineyards enjoying a bottle of wine or rose. Famous for their summer in a bottle (delicious) we had that along with the charcuterie and cheese box which I felt could've been a bit heftier or better tasting. However I think they are still working through their covid woes so I'll give them a pass on that.

Only down side. You pay a premium to have a bottle of wine and sit in their vineyard. That same bottle of wine is 50% less in the store when you walk in but they won't let you buy it from there and sit outside. Just a heads up, but totally understandable as to why...

Set on the beautiful Wölffer estate vineyard, the wine stand encapsulates a laid back winery experience that will without a doubt have you coming back for more. Bring a beach chair or blanket, a cute sun dress, and find a spot on the grass to sip some wine, listen to live music, catch the sunset, and admire the beautiful vineyard. I recommend coming on the weekends around sunset time for the best vibes. The wine is honestly nothing special (summer in a bottle rose is my favorite), but the atmosphere enhances anything in your glass. No outside food allowed in, and they do have some snacks, but I’d recommend skipping the food and just getting wine here.
