If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We purchased a tasting on Groupon. For $58 we got 8 wines to taste. YOU PICK. Then 2 wine glasses. A snack. And 2 souvenir glasses. Such a good deal. They filled our tatsing up so high, I swear each of the 8 tastings were full 5 oz glasses. And the glasses? Probably 8 or 9 oz. Wow! They have the best selection I've ever seen on LI for semi-sweet and sweet wines. We ended up purchasing half-bottles of Late Harvest Niagara and Late Harvest Riesling. So delicious! I HIGHLY recommend this winery to EVERYONE! Amazing and thoughtful service the entire time, as well. The snack was good. Typical of a winery. :)

I absolutely love Pugliese! I visit annually with my family and we are on year 5! It’s always a must stop for us! The owner Pat is a gem. So kind, welcoming and receptive. The Blanc de Blanc Brut is incredible. We always grab a glass and celebrate. This past trip we celebrated with 4 generations of women in our family. Veronica Rose is another good one and happens to be the name of my grandma and baby! We had some of that to celebrate the new girl as well. The property is always to relaxing and peaceful. The lake is filled with fish and turtles! Pat the owner paints wine glasses. We bought some a few years ago and they are still perfect!

The wine was good and the grounds were pretty. The big downer one which will keep me from visiting again is the so called “cheese menu”. There was no charcuterie you have to buy each item separately. for 9$ you pick your cheese — this was pepper jack, they simply opened a grocery store package of pepper jack cheese and dumped it on the plate is this really deserving of a winery? Horrible! The paper separating the cheese was still there too. How lazy!

So on Saturday, November 7, 2020. My family and visited this vineyards and from the minute we arrived it was disappointments one after another. First we were in line for a table we were a group of 9 people. They had a table for 10 available but the young lady that was seating the customers decided to give the table to another couple that was just a party of 2. My group and the party of 2 arrived to the greeting/ seating young lady at the same time. One of the ladies in my party took it upon her self to go inside and complain,( which maybe was not necessary) the blonde waitress said yo her " Oh well that is the way it is, you just have to wait, and if not then bye and have a nice day " pretty rude . Then while outside deciding if we were going yo leave or not we got called for a table so we decided to stay and enjoy the music and the venue. So know while we are waiting to be served I hear the blonde waitress talking about us in a very negative way to other customers that were seating close to us. I tried to ignore it and not bring attention to it but she just kept talking in a very negative way about my group to other customers. This lady was very unprofessional, not pleasant at all. When we finally got her attention so we can put in our order she said to our group " You guys are going yo have to wait because I have lots of other tables that I am serving and 15 other things to do first before I can take your order and she walks away. We all looked at each other embarrassed and just started to laugh because we didn't know what else to do. We finally got our bottles and we are having a good time put all the negative and rudeness experience behind us. Well after being at the venue for a while my wife and I took a walk inside to use the restrooms and as we arewalking out of the building there is the lovely waitress talking about us again to a small group of people. Like please let it go already. So when my wife and I got back to our table I made my family aware of what I heard and saw and we left the vvineyard. I send an email to the owner hoping that they would reach out to us but instead they share the email with the waitress and she came to our table to let us know that they got my email and if I really wanted her to respond to it. No answer was given . So I guess she must be associated with the family that own...

I just visited Pugliese yesterday on my wine tour with 10 others to celebrate my birthday. I've been to this vineyard before which is why I chose to go there again. When I went before it was with a much smaller group and we really appreciated their customer service. The same was true this time around, everyone there was very friendly and the scenery was beautiful. I also chose Pugliese because the availability of food was extremely helpful for my group. With most of the other vineywards, they don't allow outside food but many of us can't have gluten, or dairy or meat, or all three. They connected me with Fred at Sterlington Deli, and they were extremely accommodating with our dietary restrictions.

However, I'm only giving it 3 stars because the main attraction was subpar...the wine. I hadn't noticed it the first time I came here but this time around it was the second vineyard we stopped at and the first vineyard was so good, it really put Pugliese to shame. The wine tasted very cheap, most of the people in my group stopped tasting because nothing was really satisfying, with the exception of the Bella Maria.

The live music was definitely a nice touch but from their lineup of musicians, it seems like they're catered to one genre.

I wouldn't really recommend anyone to go to Pugliese if they truly want a good wine tasting experience, OR I would tell them to make it their first stop so that the wine gets better as the...

The women outside that were serving the wine were absolutely hilarious and very welcoming. We were able to make jokes with them and they were completely open to the jokes. We smiled and laughed as we picked our wine choices. They have a decently-sized selection of wines to try. They had them broken up into categories for us with a mini description below the name of the wine. As they poured the wine, they put the wines in a specific order and told us the order we should drink the wine. We sat down under the canopy they had set up since it was a really sunny day. The tables were nice and clean and also had tablecloths on them. The cheese plate is absolutely worth it. It's enough to share for 2 people. They also had a ridiculously delicious garlic cracker on the cheese plate and I completely forgot to ask what it was. There...
