It is with great pleasure that I highly recommend Ironworks Studios. I purchased the Father's Day workshop as a surprise, experiential gift for my dad. The event was nothing short of extraordinary. Stacey is truly a remarkable artist, craftsperson, and human. She demonstrated great patience, kindness and compassion while working with people of all ages regardless of physical or cognitive limitations. The event itself was well structured with just enough education as to not overwhelm the participants, but to inspire curiosity, creativity and excitement. The pace was perfect and at no point did we feel rushed. The workshop itself is a vintage barn located on a beautiful plot of land that is rich in plant and fauna diversity. Last but not least, Stacey took photos of our experience so participants could focus on quality time together without distractions. I highly recommend purchasing a workshop for yourself, a loved one, or to host a small gathering. We will...
Read moreAn incredible experience at Ironwood Studios!
I recently took a welding class with Stacy Mrve, and I can’t say enough great things about it. Stacy is not only a phenomenal teacher but also an incredibly talented artist. She has a gift for making the learning process approachable, engaging, and empowering—especially for women entering a traditionally male-dominated field.
Her teaching style is clear, patient, and encouraging. She creates a supportive environment where you feel safe to try, make mistakes, and grow. Stacy’s passion for her craft and her dedication to empowering others truly shines through in every aspect of the class.
If you’ve ever been curious about welding or want to learn a new hands-on skill in a welcoming, inspiring space, I highly recommend Ironwood Studios and Stacy...

Then we got an overview on safety and equipment. We started by welding our initials so that we could get a feel for the equipment. Then we made our first snail before stopping for lunch. (A very thoughtful lunch free of all common allergens, gluten free and vegan options) We returned to make our second snail and then cleaned up our projects, had them painted, and then you got to try welding your initials a second time to see how much you improved in 4 hours :D I love to see women empowering women; and including the younger generation as well. We’ll...
