Stopped in for the first time and the last time today. I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, home fries and coffee. The waitress served me the half a cup of sludge that remained in the bottom of pot of coffee that had been burning there all morning. I asked for a coke instead. She explained it was late in the day and she won't make another pot of coffee. The cola was mostly carbonated water and lacked syrup. I drank water, but was still charged for the coffee. The homefries were unseasoned boiled potatoes that had been warmed up on a flat top. I had ordered my eggs over easy. They came cooked completely hard. I had asked for a grilled hard roll and again, got something that was warmed on a flattop. The cook came out, walked by, made eye contact, but didn't have anything to say. It seemed like the waitress and the cook stopped caring a long time ago. I got charged $20 for a meal that was mostly inedible. Read moreJack and Ken’s Breakfast review took us to Springwater, NY to the South End Diner. Yes, it is in the middle of nowhere but it’s beautiful country and a really nice drive. The locals were super friendly and waitress Morgan was super nice, funny and on point. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. I had the Breakfast Garbage Plate which is basically an Omlette with potato’s, onions, cheese and bacon covered with sausage gravy. Good portion and delicious. Ken had The Redneck Scramble. 2 eggs, hash browns, peppers and onions and ham covered with sausage gravy. He loved it. The hash was from a can but cooked crispy. Price was reasonable the folks were nice. Ken paid ahead for the next Veteran’s breakfast. If you’re not in a hurry and feel like a scenic drive, especially as the leaves turn, you can find a delicious breakfast at the South End Diner in beautiful Springwater,...

We had our young daughter with us. She got to hear all about the waitresses many bar escapades and all the swearing. Our food came out quickly which was nice. My husband asked for some hot sauce but never got any. The waitress was in too big of a hurry to get behind the counter to talk to the only other 2 customers in the place and look at her phone. Nice place , good food, not so...
