Goodman Mountain was a nice, gradual hike, not challenging. I tend to wear a camelback on all mountains (hydration is a religion to me) however, many people didn't have one. The hike didn't take long, and was fun. It had rained the day before so the forest was full of mushrooms and we could hear some ravens talking. Passed a good amount of dogs on their way down. They were all on leashes, which was good to see. The top had some nice views but was not very large. We met two other pair of hikers up there and there was room for us to be distant, but many more would have crowded the peak. We couldn't find the marker, but I think maybe one of the other groups was sitting on it....???

Nice hike, part of the Tupper lake triad. BIG parking lot that is plowed regularly and has handicap accessible parking, right off a well-maintained, plowed road. First half a mile of this trail is actually paved and can be accessed by people in wheelchairs. The remaining mile is in the woods and off-road. Great views from the bald summit. About 3.2 miles round trip. Open all year, any season, free!

Nice hike. The first part is paved and then it gets a little more difficult but not terrible. Little rocky and some roots but well taken care of. The DEC guys were coming up clearing with chainsaws as I was coming down. Then I ran into them again on Mt Arab later. View from the top is beautiful. Definitely worth the hike up.
