One of my favorite short hikes! Definitely one for the whole family, little kids included. My 4 year old hiked this no problem. Doesnt have a 360 degree view but that's perfectly fine by me. My family hikes this mountain a couple times a year. It has some interesting history behind it too, if you go here please make sure to read about it at the Kiosk. Took maybe 45 minutes to summit, my daughter basically ran up it and even shorter time coming down. A must for beginners.

Easy trail and the paved path that lead to the trails was ethereal and beautiful. Once you get to the top it's just you living the moment and looking across a beautiful mountain ranges.

Another easy winter hike to some beautiful views. Again micro spikes are a big help. If you bring dogs keep them on a leash, the area is loaded with deer.

Nice mostly easy hike, with a view of the surrounding mountains at the top. Couldn't see the lake side from the top, but caught glimpses of it on the way up. With the leaves on the ground this time of year there were some slippery and muddy spots along the way but my 3.5 year old could make the trail with...
