North Point — Attraction in Town of Ulysses

Beautiful little spot to stop and enjoy nature. I passed by here after visiting Taughannock Falls because I happened to park nearby. It was truly worth the visit. Too bad I didn't bring a lunch because it would have been the perfect place. Beautiful green grass covered the area in June. The weather was a perfect 70 degrees. Great park if you are camping or just planning a day trip to Cayuga Lake. We love visiting the beach with lifeguards or swimming in the rocky beach part. The views are great and the picnic area is kept clean as are the bathrooms/changing rooms. We are always very happy to visit with the whole family at North Point. Nice, much less used (it seemed to us) day use area and access to the lake, than across the creek where the playground is and the beach. Seems like a nice spot to enjoy the lake.
