Outdoor spaces are nice, peaceful. Boat launch is at the end, near a fire pit filled with litter. Baseball/kickball field has plenty of grass. The trail to en-joie is treacherous and with water barriers, feels very Bridge to Terabithia. There's a large building which appears abandoned this time of year at least. No facilities.

Love this place. Great place to take the dogs and get out and take a stroll. Not as congested as the rail trail, also not as boring as the rail trail. Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against the rail trail but too many people, small space for bikes, skaters runners and walkers. God forbid you forget to stay to the right you might get ran over. Not the same issue at Grippen. You have plenty of room to run, walk,...

I liked it better when it was an ice rink, but I also like what they've done with the place. Very unique BMX park, the baseball diamond is still there, and there's a newer outdoor playground. All in all...
