I've been to a lot of off-leash dog parks, & this one is definitely one of the best. The variable terrain & scenic beauty make it far more interesting than most. It's one of the biggest I've visited, too. I've been told that walking the perimeter is about a 2 mile walk.
Starting a couple years ago, the Ice Age Trail people (& probably others) started restoring the original oak savannah, both within the park & north of it (part of the Ice Age Trail). We brought our 80lb Aussie Mix and he burned so much energy that he slept the whole way home. This park has many fields, trails and beautiful views for the whole family to enjoy. My 2-year-old daughter really enjoyed this park as well. Even though we attended on a very cold and muddy day, I was impressed with how clean this park was. There are benches and waste bins all throughout the park as well. My family and I have decided to make this park a weekly adventure. I...

If you're not sure if your dog will return to you this might not be the best spot for you. There are many hidden trails that have been paved by dogs. There are also 3 different open areas of varying size where you can sit and play fetch if you prefer that to walking the trails. Trails are lined with many benches and also there is a gate that attached to the nearby Ice Age Trail segment if you'd like to go a little...
