My husband and I thought we’d try out the zip lines at Greek Peak adventure center. I was a little taken back when it said it was two hours for the tour. I know why it was two hours because you have to walk to the four different lines and carry your gear. Also, there are a lot of steps both up and down. You have to wait for your entire group to go through. We had a group of 13. Thank goodness it was only a 73° day otherwise it would’ve been unbearable to go that long without water. I think the total time we actually spent in the air on the zip lines was maybe five minutes tops. The girls that were in charge were absolutely awesome, friendly. kind, and patient. I would not recommend this activity for older adults with health problems. We are young seniors in good physical shape, and it was a little taxing on us. You had to go into a building and go on a people mover going up a slight incline. if it had been a hot day, I think the building would’ve been too hot for most people as it was only in the 70s when we went. I can’t even imagine if it was in the 90s like it has been. It was very hard to balance so when I did it the second time I walked through it, which was also a little bit of a challenge for somebody who is physically fit and 68 years old. I would not recommend this to someone who can’t walk a long distance and carry at least 20 pounds and also if the temperature was above 75. i’m glad we did it. We would not go again. We would look for just one zip line instead of going through all the hassles with equipment, steps, walking, etc. A-big thank you to Mazi as she was patient...
Read moreDon’t go snow tubing unless there is full snow cover of the entire area, not just the run, and the tubes are clean. It turns into a nasty pig sty of mud that cakes the tubes top to bottom (since they stack them up) and is impossible to avoid. They’re even too cheap to provide adequate snow cover on the runs and you get stuck on dirt patches. The staff is far more interested in enforcing a bunch of little rules (to make it less fun) than providing a decent customer experience.
Also annoying to go with any kids too small to pull their own (massive) tube because you can only fit one tube through the turnstile. Every time you go through with two tubes it’s exhausting and you get even muddier. Also they won’t let parents go down with their kids on same tube.
Basically the underlying experience design principle appears to be: how can we provide the minimum level of service at the minimum cost and maximum liability protection. Whether anyone has a good time is irrelevant and it shows by how empty the place was- at times more staff...
Read moreI came here with my husband to try the mountain coaster and the zipline tour and we really enjoyed both of them! The mountain coaster gives some thrills and it’s not super scary which I liked ❤️ and I also liked that the speed can be controlled (people can brake and accelerate as needed but always respecting safety standards as instructed) . I loved the ride through the woods . I recommend to book the zipline tour in advance as each of them can last up to two hours depending on how many people are in each tour , therefore you would risk to have a long waiting time if you stop by whenever a previous tour is in progress ! I would recommend this center for all ages , there were children and adults and I think it’s great experience to enjoy the nature and have fun at the same time . The staff is extremely competent , dynamic and I love their focus on safety, they are really attentive to each person and to ensure a great experience for everyone. Definitely...
