If there was a Zero rating I would give it!!! Myself and three others decided to give this place a go because we were in the area after apple picking (despite the ratings). Upon arrival, the owner nor his wife greeted us or ask if we needed help, it was as if we we non existent. Finally after a few minutes I decided to approach the wife, who gave the most vague of responses when I asked for help and more info about the wine tasting procedure. Despite her response, I walked over to the bar area where her husband was in the process of serving wine to other parties. I tried getting his attention and he completely ignored me so much so that one of the people being served had to say to him that we were here for wine tasting and should be served! The man (owner) proceeded to give me one glass (Mind you, there was a bit of attitude when he gave me the glass) when it was so obvious that it was 4 of us! I told him that I needed 4 glasses and to my utmost surprised caught a fit about it. Who tf does that???!? They’re unprofessional, unwelcoming and wouldn’t recommend it. From my observation they’re also disorganized - randomly selecting bottles from the shelf for tasting. If you’re looking for a quick buzz for $5 then go because you won’t be reviving anything more...
Read moreI agree with Joe Hamilton's review. Terrible customer service and mediocre wine. Worst winery experience I've ever had.
I wish I could give zero stars. My husband and I arrived to this ghost town of a winery. There wasn't anyone there, and now we know why. We rang the bell and walked in. No one was in the tasting room. We walked around for a few minutes when finally a woman came through the front door. She mumbled a hello, and we thought she was another customer until she walked behind the counter. We had to ask for a tasting, to which she replied, "Five dollars". We paid, and every time we asked for a wine, she'd say, "Which one?" The wine bottles were all over the floor with no rhyme or reason. She couldn't find half of them and even had to pull one off of the shelf. There were fruit flies EVERYWHERE! She acted like we were troubling her with every pour. A tasting? More like a sipping. We barely got a half a taste in our glass. The wine was nothing special. We rushed through the five tastings and ran for the door. My husband and I have been to many vineyards/wineries, and this was by...
Read moreWe are avid wine drinkers. We particularly love visiting the Warwick area and giving our business to the smaller vineyards. The low rating for this one kept us away, until this past weekend. Because of Covid they are not allowed to have wine tastings due to no food service available. We were, however, allowed to buy a bottle (or a few), and picnic in their gorgeous outdoor area. The views on this property are spectacular. We got to spend time with the owner. Her husband planted this vineyard after he retired. He worked the land and took pride as a wine maker until he passed in May. His wife is now running the vineyard with the help of the family. Our group bought a bottle of red classico and the cabernet sauvignon. The classico was dry with a nice peppery flavor. The Can was a beautiful blend of chocolate and red wine. It was really delicious. We all left happy with lots of bottles we could enjoy at home. We were really pleasantly surprised by the wine here, and very much enjoyed our time learning about the land and the family. We will definitely be...
