I can see that Casey Park is a beautiful and well kept place just from viewing the photos from other park goers. Albeit, a terrible incident happened there a few days ago which shouldn't bring any blemish to this beautiful serene place. Many families choose to be there for that reason alone. However, I make this post for the little girl, Zyvette Marquez Riviera and her parents. I'm so sorry for your great loss. I'm a mother and grandmother and I've experienced a different type of loss as a mother and grandmother. I never had the opportunity to meet my twins or two grandson because Jesus took them while they were being carried in the womb. The loss you are experiencing is great and you are not alone. I pray for you, her siblings if any and the remaining family. Even though you may not understand know that God cries for you and your loss. I pray one day you will have a certain peace that only Jesus can give you. Lastly, for all parents God Peace and protection for you and...

The park is safe and clean, but is a small park bordered by roads, and there isn't very much to do. There is a short hiking trail through the woods around the water. While the trail is in disrepair at points, particularly in the second half, an experienced hiker at a fairly relaxed pace can expect about 30 to 45 minutes of easy gradients. A note: while the trail is fairly easy, the previously mentioned points of disrepair combined with steep adjoining slopes into the water may render the second half of the trail unsuitable for small children. The park also features baseball diamonds, soccer and football fields, canoe rentals, and pavilions suitable for family or group get-togethers. For children, there is a small playground, small sand beach (not really for adults or serious swimmers), and a very small...

Growing up in Ontario, casey park was always a go to place to hang out with friends and family. Nice hiking loop around the water... one side is pretty easy and the other is ups and downs. There is a community center, which is huge and has an indoor track. There are also shelters you can rent. Pavillion or two lodges to choose from. We just rented the pavillion for the 4th of July. Quaint beach and spray park area. Huge fields to play ball games in. Playground and swing set! Lots of opportunities to take pictures too! Be careful around the edges of water, there are cliff areas along the trail. Don't leave anyone unattended. Always have a partner if you will be near the water. Lots of fishing too! Will always come back...

We enjoy coming to this park. We like to launch our kayak here. It’s a nice 1 mile paddle round trip. Either dock on either side is nice for launching. We also enjoy doing the new story walk. It’s a half mile walk out (1 mile round trip) which is nice that it is longer than some other story walks we have done. I’m not sure how often they change the story out but it’s a nice feature when hiking with small kids. This trail does have a tendency to be buggy so wear bug spray. There are two really nice playgrounds and a very small splash pad as well.

Fantastic park with several playgrounds, a beach, hiking trails, and a recreation/fitness center. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are never open when we are there, except for the ones in the very back of the rec center. This means that if my kids are playing on the beach and feel the call of nature, we have to walk all the way across the park to find the only open bathrooms, passing two closed bathrooms on our way.

Very quiet and scenic. Great playground for kids with nice walking trails. There isn't many picnic tables so be sure to bring a blanket or chairs to sit on. If you are eating there don't expect to get a grill to cook on. This park is more about the playgrounds and walking trails. It has a swimming area but don't use it if you don't like swimming with fish and sea weed. The 5 stars is for the park not the swimming.
