Little Cedar Lake — Attraction in Town of West Bend

One of my favorite little lakes to just come and float or rent a kayak. It is so peaceful and beautiful here. The great part of this lake is that a large portion of it is designated no-wake so I can feel peaceful and safe without worrying about noisy water vehicles running amuck. I usually come here for a few hours to kayak, float, eat lunch on the water and read my book. A wonderful way to decompress among the serene sounds and gorgeous sights of Nature. Sometimes the small public beach gets filled up and people's noise carries over the water but swimming further out usually resolves most of that. I love taking a swim in the water further out as it's clear, warm and callming. They have a cute biergarten on a hill with drinks and snacks and there are clean facilities available. Unfortunately, there is a daily $7 park entrance fee, payable online, for people without County Park...
