I feel the zoo is a lovely space for a walk and to enjoy the scenery, and of course the fundraisers for this zoo are well deserved as they promote the safety and high quality care of their animals. I felt the animals themselves do desperately deserve the remodels of their enclosures as the park sign states, and in order to provide accesible education for families who cannot necessarily afford an extravagant trip to a bigger city zoo, small parks like Bruemmer are absolutely essential to future generations. Along with a wonderful park and multiple picnicking areas available this park would be an excellent family reunion, graduation party or even birthday party...

Maybe, I am missing something or just show up at off times where nothing is going on ? But, it's wierd to me that it's a public place but yet, there's never any action....
