Significant experience with the upgrades to Capital Park the children area pavilions the walks trails, baseball fields the basketball courts the tennis courts I have even practice some golfing as well as the football field, community festivals and events even the historic house that have been heldthere's a number of things that can be done in the park it may not be Mercer county but it's definitely a place that you can look at the environment culture that's around and the park it depends on a positive mind instead of someone negativity picking out every little thing and every park that you go to you're not always pleased with everything so people enjoy the beauty of...

Cadwalader Park is my go-to refuge when the city noise gets too loud and life feels too fast. Nestled in the northwest corner of Trenton, it offers a gentle escape into nature's embrace. The moment I step onto its winding paths, the urban buzz fades, replaced by birdsong, rustling leaves, and the kind of quiet that feels like a deep breath. Whether I'm strolling beneath towering trees or simply sitting and listening to the symphony of nature, this park never fails to restore me. It's not just green space, it's a place to reconnect, reflect, and recharge. If you're looking for peace, beauty, and a break from the concrete rhythm,...

This park is a hidden gem! Beautiful grounds and the mansion is a museum which is wonderful and the park is so nice and in the middle of Trenton! There is multiable BBQ grill stations and a newly redone play ground, the security is very good and very helpful, I met on security man and he told me about how it was back in the day and that he has been going there since 1965 and now he works at the park, he was very helpful. I would definitely go, bring some BBQ and grill up a snack under a tree! Show up early as it gets busy during the afternoon, what a hidden gem and there is reminents of the old zoo...

I was simply delighted with Cadwallader Park when I visited last week with my two grandchildren! I happily showed the grandkids where the bear cage, and monkey house, and small zoo used to be when I was their age many years before. But that was 70 years ago, so we celebrated the present park with its beautiful grounds, great walking areas, lovely Ellarslie Museum building, and (my grandkids favorite) the spectacular playground! All was clean and we were assisted by a very nice Park Security Guard named Henry. I will be returning here with my hiking group on December 4....
