A beautiful, scenic high-desert reservoir not too far from town. The weather can be finicky, as with most of the area in general -- it can go from cloudy, foggy, cold and rainy early in the morning to hot and sunny suddenly in a matter of minutes. Recently caught a couple handsome rainbow trout here, although you really need to try to get there early, before the wakeboarders and speed boats show up, because they have ZERO respect for small fishing boats or kayakers. Even though we were on the deserted far Northwest side of the reservoir near the eagle nesting zone and right next to a cliff, we almost got run over by a boat towing a skiier that just wasn't paying attention to what was in front of him. Dummy almost ran his boat right into the cliff, too... although I can't say I'd be too sorry for the human race if that DNA was wiped out of the gene pool before he could reproduce. Pay...

The lake is stocked regularly and good size trout are caught there.
