We use the park frequently, mostly for walking, but it is a lovely park for kids to play with swings slides, etc, have picnics (2 covered areas), room for multiple soccer games, softball field, tennis and basketball courts. Rest rooms are spartan, but tolerably clean. We brought our grandson here a lot when he was little.
This park gets a lot of use and I am glad to see my tax dollars supporting it for the community. Only drawback is that the covered picnic areas cannot be reserved, so people are forced to come early and stay at a covered spot all day to ensure their venue time. The dinosaur bones are kinda cool, although they could have been even better with a bit more thought. There is a bunch of sand to play in so your kids will get messy. There are some unique play features you need to check out. There is also a stream/trickle of water, so not what I consider a water feature, but enough to turn the sand a bit muddy. There are picnic shelters and open grassy areas great for gatherings. The playground is just okay—not the most exciting structure, but the kids still had fun for a little while.
